February hits PS Plus subscribers with two waves of departures. Three games leave the Essential tier on February 2, and nine more exit the Extra/Premium catalog on February 17.

The biggest loss? Cult of the Lamb, one of the best indie games of 2022, is leaving after a solid run on the service.

Here's everything departing and what you should prioritize.

Essential Tier: Claim by February 2

These games leave the monthly lineup on February 2. If you Haven't added them to your library yet, do it now.

Game Platform Metacritic Time to Beat
Need for Speed Unbound PS5 80 15-20 hours
Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed PS5, PS4 75 10-12 hours
Core Keeper PS5 82 30+ hours

Reminder: You only need to "Add to Library" to keep access. You don't have to download or play them before the deadline.

Extra/Premium Tier: Last Chance February 17

These games leave the catalog entirely on February 17. Unlike monthly games, you can't claim them permanently. Once they're gone, they're gone (unless you buy them).

Cult of the Lamb 82 13-22 hours Yes
WWE 2K25 77 Varies If you're a fan

Don't Miss: Priority Picks

If you only have time for a few, focus on these:

1. Cult of the Lamb (Extra/Premium)

The must-play. This roguelike cult simulator earned an 82 on Metacritic and became one of 2022's breakout indie hits. You play as a possessed lamb building a cult of woodland creatures while battling through procedurally generated dungeons.

The gameplay loop is addictive: recruit followers, perform rituals, upgrade your camp, then dive into combat. It's weird, charming, and deeply satisfying.

Time commitment: 13-15 hours for the main story, 20+ hours if you want to see everything. Multiple free updates have added significant content since launch.

Deadline: February 17

2. Need for Speed Unbound (Essential)

Best arcade racer on the service. The cel-shaded art style divided opinions, but the racing itself is excellent. Criterion Games returned to form with tight handling, solid customization, and a career mode set in a Chicago-inspired open world.

If you haven't claimed it yet, add it to your library before February 2. Even if you don't play it immediately, it'll be there when you want it.

Time commitment: 15-20 hours for the career mode.

Deadline: February 2

3. The Ascent (Extra/Premium)

Cyberpunk done right. This twin-stick shooter might be the best-looking game in the PS Plus catalog. The environments are absurdly detailed, and the combat is explosive and satisfying.

It's repetitive in spots, and the loading times on PS5 aren't great, but the 12-15 hour campaign is worth it for cyberpunk fans. Playable solo or co-op.

Time commitment: 12-15 hours for the main story.

Deadline: February 17

4. Rez Infinite (Extra/Premium)

A quick one for VR owners. This rhythm-action shooter is a classic, and the PS VR version is exceptional. At 2-3 hours, you can finish it in a single session.

If you have PS VR and haven't played it, don't let this one slip away.

Deadline: February 17

Quick Takes on the Rest

  • WWE 2K25: The latest wrestling sim. If you're a fan, you've probably already played it. If not, 2K games rotate through PS Plus regularly.
  • Core Keeper (Essential): Terraria-style mining/crafting game. 82 Metacritic, 30+ hours of content. Worth claiming even if you don't play immediately.
  • SaGa Frontier Remastered: Classic Square JRPG with seven different protagonists. For genre fans only.
  • Carto: Clever puzzle game about manipulating map pieces. Short and sweet at 5-6 hours.
